Before treatment the patient's suitability and medical history must be assessed, and the patient informed of the indications, contraindications and possible adverse effects. The area to be treated should be disinfected thoroughly and the product injected under sterile conditions; keep the syringe at room temperature for 30 minutes before injection and press the plunger until a small drop is visible at the needle tip. It must not be injected into blood vessels, and it must not be injected into the eye contour, meaning the ocular circle or the eyelids. It must not be mixed with other products. If the needle blocks, do not increase pressure on the plunger rod; stop and replace the needle.
