Product Description

Juvéderm Ultra Smile is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler with lidocaine for mid to deep dermal correction and lip enhancement. This sterile, pyrogen-free solution in pre-filled syringes is intended to fill mid or deep skin depressions and to define and enhance the lips, with lidocaine to improve treatment comfort.

Contraindications
  • Do not inject in the periorbital area, including the eyelids and crow’s feet.
  • Do not inject in the glabellar region, including the forehead.
  • Under-eye use must be performed only by specialists specifically trained in that area.
  • Do not inject into blood vessels.
  • Do not overcorrect.
  • Must not be used in patients with untreated epilepsy.
  • Must not be used in patients with a tendency to develop hypertrophic scarring.
  • Must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid and/or gram-positive bacterial proteins.
  • Must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to lidocaine or amide-type local anesthetics.
  • Must not be used in patients suffering from porphyria.
  • Must not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • Must not be used in children.
  • Must not be used in areas with inflammatory or infectious skin processes such as acne or herpes.
  • Should not be used simultaneously with laser treatment, deep chemical peels, or dermabrasion.
  • After surface peels, injection is not recommended if the inflammatory reaction is significant.
