Several restrictions are absolute: it must not be injected in the periorbital area including the eyelids and crow's feet, must not be injected in the glabellar region including the forehead, and must not be injected into blood vessels. Under-eye use must be performed only by specialists specifically trained in that area, and the product must not be overcorrected. It must not be used in areas with inflammatory or infectious skin processes such as acne or herpes, nor simultaneously with laser treatment, deep chemical peels or dermabrasion; after surface peels, injection is not recommended where the inflammatory reaction is significant.

It must not be used in areas with inflammatory or infectious skin processes such as acne or herpes.
