Belotero Intense Lidocaine
Belotero Intense Lidocaine is an injectable dermal filler designed for deep facial enhancement and soft-tissue volume restoration, improving definition in mobile perioral areas.
Belotero Intense Lidocaine is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic, colourless, transparent cross-linked sodium hyaluronate filler of non-animal origin, supplied in a physiological phosphate buffer and containing 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride. It is an injectable biodegradable implant for filling deep facial wrinkles and folds and for restoring and enhancing soft tissue, with the lidocaine included to reduce local pain associated with injection and to improve patient comfort.
Each 1 mL syringe contains cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 25.5 mg/ml and lidocaine hydrochloride 3.0 mg/ml in phosphate buffer at pH 7. The sodium hyaluronate is produced by fermentation of Streptococcus equi. It is placed in the deep dermis for naso-labial folds and marionette lines, and submucosally or subcutaneously for lip enhancement. This is the deepest dermal plane in the range outside the volumising grade, and the grades are not interchangeable.
ALLPARA supplies Belotero Intense Lidocaine to clinics and licensed practitioners with batch-level traceability and documentation available on request. Wholesale pricing is available to registered professional buyers.

Patient profile
Suitable for adult patients assessed as appropriate by the treating practitioner. It must not be injected into blood vessels, into areas presenting cutaneous inflammation or infection of immunological, allergic, bacterial, fungal or viral origin, into an area previously treated with a permanent dermal filler, or into the glabellar or nose region. It must not be used in association with other aesthetic techniques such as peeling, dermabrasion or laser treatment before complete healing of the last treatment, and in no case earlier than two weeks after it. Particular care applies to patients taking anticoagulant, antiplatelet, thrombolytic or anti-inflammatory medication, and to patients pre-disposed to hypertrophic scars or keloids. Patient selection and suitability are determined by the practitioner at consultation.
How Belotero Intense Lidocaine Works
Belotero Intense Lidocaine works through cross-linked sodium hyaluronate, supplied at 25.5 mg/ml with lidocaine hydrochloride 3.0 mg/ml in a physiological phosphate buffer at pH 7, made up to 1 mL. The gel is sterile, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic, colourless, transparent and of non-animal origin, and acts as an injectable biodegradable implant that fills deep facial wrinkles and folds and restores and enhances soft tissue.
Placement is what defines this grade: it goes into the deep dermis for naso-labial folds and marionette lines, and submucosally or subcutaneously for lip enhancement. The lidocaine acts locally during administration to reduce pain associated with injection of the gel and does not alter that mechanism.
