Saypha Volume
Saypha Volume is a sterile, biodegradable, viscoelastic, clear, transparent, isotonic and homogenised injectable gel implant from Croma-Pharma in Austria. Indications and Professional Use
Main indications
- Deeper wrinkles and folds
- Increasing or restoring volume to the face
- Remodelling facial contours
Professional use
Saypha Volume must only be used by doctors who have received specific training in the injection technique for filling wrinkles, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. It is injected into the deep dermis or subcutis. It must not be used in areas presenting cutaneous, inflammatory or infectious processes such as acne or herpes, and must not be used in association with laser therapy, chemical peeling, dermabrasion or mesotherapy. Several sessions are preferable to injecting high volumes in one session. Do not use any needle or syringe other than those provided by the manufacturer, do not bend the needle, and do not re-use the syringe.
Treatment areas
- Face, by deep dermis or subcutis injection, for volume and contour
Patient profile
For adult patients assessed as suitable by the treating practitioner, typically those seeking restored volume or remodelled contours rather than correction of a surface line. This reference contains no anaesthetic, so anaesthesia is controlled separately if required. It must not be used in patients who tend to develop hypertrophic scars, have pigment disorders or a susceptibility to keloid formation, in patients with a history of autoimmune disease or receiving immune therapy, in patients known to be hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid, in patients who have previously received permanent fillers in the area to be treated, in pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in patients under 18 years of age. Patients on anticoagulants or receiving platelet aggregation inhibitors such as acetylsalicylic acid should not be treated without consulting their doctors.
How Saypha Volume Works
Saypha Volume works through highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 23 mg/ml, placed in the deep dermis or subcutis where it provides the structural support needed to restore facial volume and remodel contours rather than to smooth a surface line.
The degree of cross-linking is what distinguishes it from Saypha Filler at the same 23 mg/ml concentration: a more heavily cross-linked network resists deformation and breakdown, which is what lets it hold projection in deeper tissue.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Saypha Volume differ from Saypha Filler?
Both carry sodium hyaluronate at 23 mg/ml with 27G 1/2 inch needles, but the gels differ in cross-linking and placement. Volume is highly cross-linked and goes into the deep dermis or subcutis to correct deeper wrinkles, restore facial volume and remodel contours. Filler is cross-linked and goes into the mid to deep dermis for moderate to severe wrinkles and folds and for lip volume.
Does Saypha Volume contain lidocaine?
No. It contains no anaesthetic, which makes it the reference to use where lidocaine is undesirable or contraindicated. Saypha Volume Plus Lidocaine is a separate product at 25 mg/ml with lidocaine 0,3%, indicated for midface volume deficit and placed deep subcutaneously or supraperiosteally.
Where can clinics buy Saypha Volume?
ALLPARA supplies Saypha Volume to licensed practitioners, clinics and distributors on a B2B account. Wholesale terms, stock position and batch expiry are released to registered professional buyers.
