Patient profile
Suitable for adult patients seeking lip volume, definition or reshaping of the lip line, following clinical assessment by the treating practitioner. The manufacturer positions the reference for a fuller, more contoured appearance with a natural, plump effect. Patients whose concern is perioral or so-called barcode lines around the mouth rather than lip body are better served by Hyamax Plus Fine. Because this reference contains no anaesthetic, patient comfort management is planned separately by the practitioner.
How Hyamax Lips Plus Works
Hyamax Lips Plus works through cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 20 mg/mL, built on a 500 micron average particle size. The manufacturer's stated mechanism is lip augmentation by adding volume to the subcutaneous tissue to support sunken lips, and it names shaping the Cupid's bow, the double curve of the upper lip, as a specific application. It is described as adding volume and definition to create a fuller, more contoured appearance, and as suited to reshaping lip lines for a natural, plump effect. The injection zone is the lips only. Two sterilised 27G 13 mm needles are provided with each box alongside the two pre-filled syringes.
