AesPlla

AesPlla is a poly-L-lactic acid dermal filler by Oreon Life Science Co., Ltd., presented as a powder and designed to replace lost volume by stimulating collagenesis instead of adding a gel. It is indicated for immune-competent people, as a single regimen, to correct shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles. The product contains 365 mg of PLLA in a 5 ml vial, which is reconstituted with water for injection and lidocaine before use, and is intended for professional use. PLLA has served in medical devices such as dissolvable stitches for more than 20 years, and as AesPlla is made of synthetic materials no allergy test is required before treatment; it is CE marked and approved by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

For professional use. aesPlla is administered by licensed practitioners trained in biostimulatory injectable technique, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. It is supplied as a powder and must be reconstituted before use: the working solution is aesPlla plus water for injection and lidocaine. The diluted product is injected into the subcutaneous layer of the skin. Because the correction develops through collagen generation over weeks rather than appearing at the time of treatment, the practitioner should set patient expectations accordingly.
