The product contains 365 mg of PLLA in a 5 ml vial, which is reconstituted with water for injection and lidocaine before use, and is intended for professional use. PLLA has served in medical devices such as dissolvable stitches for more than 20 years, and as AesPlla is made of synthetic materials no allergy test is required before treatment; it is CE marked and approved by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

It is supplied as a powder and must be reconstituted before use: the working solution is aesPlla plus water for injection and lidocaine. The diluted product is injected into the subcutaneous layer of the skin.
