Juvéderm Volite

Juvéderm Volite is a hyaluronic acid injectable by Allergan Aesthetics, developed to improve skin quality and correct superficial skin depressions. It is suitable for authorised medical practitioners for the treatment of fine lines and improvement of skin hydration and elasticity. The product contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 12 mg/mL and 3 mg/mL of lidocaine hydrochloride in a phosphate buffer at pH 7.2 and is intended for professional use. Each box contains two 1 mL pre-filled syringes, four single-use 32G 1/2" needles and traceability labels.

Zastosowanie profesjonalne

Juvéderm Volite is an injectable medical device supplied for administration by licensed, appropriately trained healthcare practitioners in a controlled clinical setting. It is not for retail sale to consumers and never for self-administration. It is placed by intradermal injection, and the technique and volume per site are selected by the treating practitioner. It must not be injected in the eyelids. It must not be injected into blood vessels, since intravascular injection may lead to embolisation, occlusion of the vessels, ischaemia or infarction, and it must not be overcorrected. Volite is a skin quality injectable and is not interchangeable with the deeper-placed volumising references in the range.

Profil pacjenta

For adult patients assessed as suitable by the treating practitioner. Selection, injected volume, plane and technique follow clinical assessment by the practitioner. The product must not be used in patients suffering from untreated epilepsy, patients who tend to develop hypertrophic scarring, patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or to gram-positive bacterial proteins, patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or to amide-type local anaesthetics, patients suffering from porphyria, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or patients under 18 years of age. It must not be used in areas presenting cutaneous inflammatory or infectious processes such as acne or herpes.
