Juvéderm Skinvive

Juvéderm Skinvive is a hyaluronic acid injectable by Allergan Aesthetics, created to improve the quality of the skin and to correct superficial skin depressions. Juvéderm Volite is now presented under the name SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM. Authorised medical practitioners use it to treat fine lines and to improve the hydration and elasticity of the skin. Its formula holds cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 12 mg/mL and 3 mg/mL of lidocaine hydrochloride in a phosphate buffer at pH 7.2, for professional use. A box contains two 1 mL pre-filled syringes, four single-use 32G 1/2" needles and traceability labels.

Zastosowanie profesjonalne

SKINVIVE by Juvéderm is an injectable medical device intended for intra-dermal injection by an authorised medical practitioner in accordance with local applicable regulation. It is for professional use only, is not for retail sale to consumers and never for self-administration. The technique and volume per site are selected by the treating practitioner. It must not be injected in the eyelids. It must not be injected into blood vessels, since intravascular injection may lead to embolisation, occlusion of the vessels, ischaemia or infarction, and it must not be overcorrected. It must not be used simultaneously with laser treatment, deep chemical peels or dermabrasion; for surface peels, injection is not recommended where the inflammatory reaction is significant. SKINVIVE is a skin quality treatment and is not interchangeable with the deeper-placed volumising references in the range.

Profil pacjenta

For adult patients assessed as suitable by the treating practitioner. Selection, injected volume, plane and technique follow clinical assessment by the practitioner. The product must not be used in patients suffering from untreated epilepsy, patients who tend to develop hypertrophic scarring, patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or to gram-positive bacterial proteins, patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or to amide-type local anaesthetics, patients suffering from porphyria, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or children. It must not be used in areas presenting cutaneous inflammatory or infectious processes such as acne or herpes.
