Pluryal Volume Lidocaine

Pluryal Volume Lidocaine is a monophasic cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler from the Pluryal Fillers Lidocaine range, by PLURYAL (MD Skin Solutions), indicated for correcting deeper wrinkles and folds, restoring facial volume and remodelling facial contours. It also addresses facial lipoatrophy, debilitating scars and morphological asymmetry, and it can be easily injected with a 27G ½” thin-wall needle into the deep dermis or subcutis, with treatment repeated every 9-12 months or as required. Its formula has 2.3% (23 mg/mL) hyaluronic acid obtained from Streptococcus equi bacteria, cross-linked with BDDE to a residual level of ≤ 2 ppm, in a phosphate buffer with NaCl and 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride, which has the ancillary role of reducing pain when the skin is injected, and an elastic modulus (G’) of 400,000 mPa. It is a class III medical device for professional use only.

Uso profesional

Pluryal Volume Lidocaine is a class III medical device, to be used only by doctors who have received specific training on intradermal injection techniques. Composition and specification: cross-linked hyaluronic acid 2.3% (23 mg/mL) obtained from Streptococcus equi, phosphate buffer, NaCl, 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride (purity according to ICH Q3B limits); BDDE cross-linked (≤ 2 ppm); molecular weight 3 million Da; G’ 400,000 mPa; extrusion force 13 N; endotoxins ≤ 2 EU/mL; steam sterilized. The gel can be easily injected using a 27G ½” thin-wall needle. Level of injection: deep dermis or subcutis. Treatment frequency: 9-12 months or as required. The gel contains lidocaine hydrochloride, so hypersensitivity to lidocaine is a relevant consideration in patient selection.
