It is not for retail sale, for self-administration, or for use outside a clinical setting. The treating practitioner is responsible for patient assessment, product selection and treatment planning. The product is injected at intradermal / superficial subcutaneous level (BAP, 0.2 mL per point).

Profhilo H+L is intended for adult patients presenting with reduced skin hydration, loss of elasticity, or early skin laxity where skin remodelling rather than volumising correction is the treatment objective. Patient suitability is determined by the treating practitioner following clinical assessment. It must not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of its components, in pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in patients with autoimmune disease; the injection site must be healthy skin free of inflammation, and the product must not be used concurrently with laser resurfacing or medium-deep peeling. Its hyaluronic acid is of microbial (biofermentation) origin and has not undergone chemical modification.
