Is VISCODERM Hydrobooster a filler?
Viscoderm Hydrobooster is a skin booster rather than a volumising filler. Its 25 mg/g cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin restores intradermal hydration and improves skin elasticity, compactness and radiance, with a stretching effect on superficial wrinkles in the dynamic areas of the face: perioral, periocular and forehead.
What is the difference between VISCODERM 0.8, 1.6 and 2.0?
The three differ in hyaluronic acid concentration. Viscoderm 0.8 contains 8 mg/1 ml for slight xerodermia, Viscoderm 1.6 contains 24 mg/1.5 ml for moderate xerodermia, and Viscoderm 2.0 contains 20 mg/1 ml for severe xerodermia. All three are injected intradermally at a medium-deep level with 30G needles.
How often is VISCODERM injected?
Viscoderm 0.8, 1.6 and 2.0 start with three sessions one week apart, possibly followed by monthly maintenance. Viscoderm Hydrobooster is used in two sessions two months apart, repeated twice a year. Viscoderm Skinkò and Skinkò E are used in three sessions, a maximum of every three weeks, with touch-up treatments to maintain the result.
