Restylane Lyft Lidocaine

Restylane Lyft Lidocaine is a firm hyaluronic acid filler, produced to restore volume, enhance facial contours and correct deeper wrinkles and folds. It is used on the cheeks, midface and chin, and also for volume deficit in the dorsal hands. The clear, firm gel combines stabilised hyaluronic acid at 20 mg/mL with 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride for comfort and is intended for professional use only.

• Stabilised hyaluronic acid at 20 mg/mL, cross-linked with BDDE and buffered to pH 7
• Supplied with 29G or 27G thin wall needles, and a 25G to 27G blunt-tip cannula may be used instead for the cheeks, midface and chin

Restylane Lyft Lidocaine is an injectable medical device for administration exclusively by licensed, appropriately trained healthcare practitioners in a controlled clinical setting. It is not for retail sale and never for self-administration. It is implanted into the deep dermis to superficial subcutis for folds and wrinkles, subcutaneously to supraperiosteally for cheek augmentation and midface contour, subcutaneously and/or supraperiosteally for the chin, and into the subcutaneous plane in the dorsal hand. The maximum recommended dose per treatment is 6 ml for facial folds and wrinkles, 6 ml for cheek augmentation and midface contour correction, 4 ml for the chin including touch-up, and 3 ml per hand for the dorsal hand; no single injection site should receive more than 2 ml. Hand treatment involves different anatomy from facial work and should not be undertaken on the basis of facial experience alone.

For adult patients assessed as suitable by the treating practitioner. Patient selection, injected volume, plane and technique follow the practitioner's clinical assessment. Because the gel contains lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg/mL, patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or to amide-type local anaesthetics must not receive this reference. It is contraindicated in patients with severe allergies manifested by a history of anaphylaxis, or a history or presence of multiple severe allergies, and in patients with a history of allergy to gram-positive bacterial proteins, since the gel contains trace amounts of such material, and in patients with bleeding disorders. Injection into the hand may cause adverse events lasting more than 96 days, which patients should be warned of before treatment.
