Juvéderm Volift Retouch

Juvéderm Volift Retouch is a sterile, pyrogen-free injectable filler of non-animal, cross-linked hyaluronic acid by Allergan Aesthetics, developed to correct deep skin depressions linked to premature ageing and for facial contouring and refinement. Clinics, dermatologists and aesthetic physicians use it on the lips, cheeks, chin and lower face and to correct asymmetry. The filler contains 17.5 mg of hyaluronic acid and 3 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride per mL and is intended for injection into the deep dermis or the lip mucosa by an authorised medical practitioner.

• Supplied at 0.55 ml per syringe against the 1 ml of Juvéderm Volift, which suits touch-up work without opening a full-size syringe
• Hyaluronic acid gel 17.5 mg with lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg per mL, in phosphate buffer at pH 7.2
• Injected into the deep dermis or the lip mucosa
• Covers correction of facial structural defects including asymmetry and contour irregularities, alongside deep skin depressions and volume restoration
• Refines facial contour and restores volume in targeted areas of the lips, cheeks, chin and lower face
• Contains lidocaine to improve patient comfort
• CE marked 0344; the needles supplied are CE marked 0123
• Each box holds two 0.55 ml syringes with four single-use 30G 1/2 inch needles and traceability labels

Juvéderm Volift Retouch is an injectable medical device intended for deep dermis or lip mucosa injection by an authorised medical practitioner, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. Several restrictions are absolute: it must not be injected in the periorbital area including the eyelids, the under-eye area and crow's feet, must not be injected in the glabellar region, and must not be injected into blood vessels. Overcorrection must be avoided. It must not be used in areas with inflammatory or infectious skin conditions such as acne or herpes, nor simultaneously with laser treatment, deep chemical peels or dermabrasion; after surface peels, injection is not recommended where the inflammatory reaction is significant. Use of the supplied 30G 1/2 inch needles is recommended; depending on the injection technique chosen by the practitioner, sterile 25G, 27G or 30G Easyflow System-20 cannulas (30G x 19 mm, 30G x 25 mm, 27G x 25 mm, 27G x 38 mm, 25G x 38 mm) may be used instead, with the cannula length chosen by the user according to the injection technique. For the lip indication, 25G cannulas are not recommended.

Juvéderm Volift Retouch is not suitable for patients with untreated epilepsy, patients prone to hypertrophic scarring, patients with hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or to gram-positive bacterial proteins, patients with hypersensitivity to lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics, patients suffering from porphyria, patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or children. It must not be used in areas with inflammatory or infectious skin conditions such as acne or herpes. Injection is contraindicated in the periorbital area including the eyelids, under-eye area and crow's feet, in the glabellar region, and into blood vessels, and overcorrection must be avoided. It must not be used at the same time as laser treatment, deep chemical peels or dermabrasion, and after a surface peel injection is not recommended while any inflammatory reaction remains significant.
