Stylage Bi-Soft XL Lidocaine is a Class III medical device (CE 0344), non-reimbursable, and the injection must be administered by a legally authorised practitioner trained in implant injection techniques. VIVACY specifies a subcutaneous injection plan, using linear threading, multipoint injection or a combination of both, with a 27G half-inch or 23G one-and-a-quarter-inch needle, or a cannula whose gauge and length are selected by the practitioner. The lidocaine hydrochloride is intended to reduce the pain related to injection. Patient selection, screening for anaesthetic sensitivity, injection technique and volume per treatment area remain the responsibility of the treating practitioner.

Suitable for adult patients presenting facial volume loss or displacement, for restoration or augmentation of facial volume in the cheeks, cheekbones and temples. Because this reference contains an amide-type local anaesthetic, patients with known lidocaine sensitivity are not candidates. Patients should be counselled that VIVACY lists inflammation, redness, swelling, pain, erythema, induration, nodules, colouration or discolouration and bruising among possible side effects, as a non-exhaustive list. The product is a Class III medical device and is non-reimbursable. Individual suitability and treatment planning are determined by the practitioner.
