Revofil Fine is the Soft Touch grade of the Revofil peptide dermal filler range from Caregen in South Korea, developed for the correction of superficial wrinkles, fine lines and caved scars. It is placed in the superficial dermis with a 30G 1/2 inch needle and lasts 10 months on average before a touch up. The monophasic, homogeneous gel contains 23 mg/mL of reticulated hyaluronic acid, cross-linked and of non-animal origin, together with two biomimetic peptides, oligopeptide-72 (CG-Boostrin) and oligopeptide-50 (CG-Glamerin), and is intended for professional use.

For professional use. Revofil Fine is administered by practitioners trained in dermal filler injection technique, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. It is the most superficially placed grade in the range, injected into the superficial dermis with a 30G 1/2 inch needle. Within the range, the tear troughs, fine lines, temporal region and upper cheeks are shared with Revofil Plus, while the cheek and hollow cheek are covered by all three grades.

Revofil combines cross-linked hyaluronic acid with peptide technology, giving the gel both biphasic and monophasic physical characteristics. Rather than carrying phosphate-buffered saline between the cross-linked hyaluronic acid molecules, it carries a higher concentration of free hyaluronic acid linked to peptide, which increases the stability of the gel. The two peptides do distinct jobs: oligopeptide-72 strongly inhibits hyaluronidase, the enzyme that breaks the gel down, which extends how long it lasts in the skin; oligopeptide-50 up-regulates the patient's own collagen and hyaluronic acid, increasing skin tightness. In vitro, hyaluronidase activity decreased by 90% and collagen 1 and hyaluronic acid synthesis in human fibroblasts increased by 81% and 45%, along with protection against oxidative stress and UV-induced cell damage.
