Belotero Revive

Belotero Revive by Merz Aesthetics is the skin quality and skin booster injectable of the BELOTERO range, an injectable resorbable implant developed to revitalise facial skin by rehydrating dry and very dry skin, improving elasticity and firmness and smoothing superficial fine lines. Its indication is early-onset photodamaged facial skin of the cheeks showing dehydration, lost elasticity and firmness, and superficial fine lines, and is placed in the mid- to deep dermis by authorised healthcare professionals. Each 1 mL syringe contains cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 20 mg/ml, produced by fermentation of Streptococcus equi, and glycerol 17.5 mg/ml in phosphate buffer at pH 7, and this presentation contains no lidocaine. The treatment regimen may be renewed at the earliest after 6 months, with a maximum annual dose of 12 mL.

Zastosowanie profesjonalne

This product is designed to be injected only by authorised healthcare practitioners who have appropriate training and experience and who are qualified or accredited in accordance with national law. It is not for retail sale to consumers and not for self-application. Injection technique, plane, quantity and patient selection are determined by the treating practitioner, and the injection depth is specific to this grade and must not be inherited from another grade in the range.

Profil pacjenta

Suitable for adult patients assessed as appropriate by the treating practitioner. BELOTERO Revive is contra-indicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of its components, especially sodium hyaluronate, glycerol or BDDE; in pregnant and breast-feeding women; in patients under 18 years old; in patients presenting a general infection; and in patients presenting an active auto-immune disease. It must not be injected into blood vessels, or into skin areas presenting active cutaneous inflammation or infection. This presentation contains no lidocaine, so the amide-anaesthetic contraindication that applies to the lidocaine-containing grades in the range does not apply here. Patient selection and suitability are determined by the practitioner at consultation.
