Karisma Rh Collagen

Karisma Rh Collagen - also styled KARISMA FACE Rh Collagen - is a Class III injectable, bio-restorative soft filler by KARISMA (manufacturer Taumedika S.r.l., Italy; CE 0477). It combines recombinant human collagen (the R-polypeptide alpha-1 chain of type I human collagen), high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and carboxymethylcellulose. Rather than adding volume alone, it stimulates fibroblasts to produce the skin's own type I collagen, for a gradual, bio-restorative improvement in firmness and structure. It is indicated for the medium-term correction of facial skin defects due to ageing and volume loss, and for filling small scars such as acne scars and post-traumatic or post-surgical scars. Supplied as a 2 ml prefilled syringe with two sterile 27G 1/2" needles, for professional use only.

Usage professionnel

For professional use only, by licensed medical practitioners trained in injectable soft-filler technique. Karisma Rh Collagen is a Class III injectable device, administered into the medium dermis (rarely deep) in pre-ageing protocols or the medium to deep dermis in anti-ageing protocols, using point and linear-retrograde technique; the treated area is then massaged for even distribution. Contraindications: do not inject in the periorbital (eyelids, crow's feet) or glabellar (forehead) regions, intravascularly, or into muscle or tendon, or for breast augmentation; do not over-correct. Do not use in individuals with known hypersensitivity to the product, vascular collagenopathies or autoimmune connective-tissue disease, active infection or inflammation at the site, uncontrolled epilepsy, a tendency to hypertrophic scars, or porphyria; not in patients under 18; not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
