Hyamax Contour is a high-viscosity cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler at 25 mg/mL by Laboratories Hyamed SA, Geneva, and the body reference in the Hyamax range. It is intended for the treatment of body rhytides and lipoatrophy, with an insertion zone of the chest, neck, hips, inner thighs and other body parts, and it is used for wrinkles, atrophy and depressions on the chest, neck, buttocks and inner thighs. It is supplied in a 10 mL syringe, so a single unit covers a large treatment area. Its effect lasts 6 to 12 months. For professional use by licensed practitioners only.

Hyamax Contour is the body reference in the Hyamax range: it is intended for the treatment of body rhytides and lipoatrophy, and its insertion zone is the chest, neck, hips, inner thighs and other body parts. It is a high-viscosity cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel at 25 mg/mL, supplied in a 10 mL syringe, with an effect of 6 to 12 months. It is contraindicated for injection into the eye contours, including the eye circle and eyelids, and for injection into blood vessels. It is contraindicated in untreated epilepsy, pregnancy or breastfeeding, patients under 18, patients prone to hypertrophic scarring, known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, porphyria, injection into inflamed or infected areas such as acne or herpes, simultaneous laser, intense pulsed light, chemical peeling or dermabrasion, considerable inflammatory response to a surface peel, coagulation defects or anticoagulation therapy, overcorrection, and patients with unachievable expectations. It must never be used for breast enlargement or for implantation into bone, tendon, ligament or muscle.

Patient profile

Suitable for adult patients aged 18 and over following clinical assessment by the treating practitioner, where the goal is body or large-area contouring rather than fine facial correction. Not suitable for patients with untreated epilepsy, porphyria, coagulation disorders, hyaluronic acid hypersensitivity, a tendency to hypertrophic scarring, active skin infection or inflammation, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding; not for eye contour or eyelid use. Since this is a 10 mL high-viscosity gel placed in the deep dermis, practitioner experience with large-volume body work is relevant to case selection.
