How long does AESTHEFILL last?
AESTHEFILL results develop gradually and can last up to 24 months. A complete AESTHEFILL treatment is a course of 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
How is AESTHEFILL reconstituted?
AESTHEFILL is reconstituted with 10 mL of sterile water for injection, not normal saline. It is stored at room temperature below 30°C, must not be frozen and does not require refrigeration.
How does AESTHEFILL differ from a hyaluronic acid filler?
AESTHEFILL does not rely on hyaluronic acid. Its PDLLA microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen over the following weeks, after an immediate filling effect. PDLLA is biodegradable and is broken down by hydrolysis into carbon dioxide and water.
Where must AESTHEFILL not be injected?
AESTHEFILL must not be administered to the lips, around the mouth or around the eyes, or directly into blood vessels. It is injected into the lower dermis or the subcutaneous layer with a 25G needle or cannula.
