AESTHEFILL is a PDLLA-based collagen-stimulating filler by REGEN Biotech, made in South Korea as a CE-marked medical device for qualified practitioners only. Each vial contains 200 mg of porous poly-D, L-lactic acid microspheres and carboxymethylcellulose, reconstituted with 10 mL of sterile water for injection. AESTHEFILL gives an immediate filling effect, then gradually stimulates the skin's own collagen production. How long does AESTHEFILL last?
AESTHEFILL results develop gradually and can last up to 24 months. A complete AESTHEFILL treatment is a course of 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
How does AESTHEFILL differ from a hyaluronic acid filler?
AESTHEFILL does not rely on hyaluronic acid. Its PDLLA microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen over the following weeks, after an immediate filling effect. PDLLA is biodegradable and is broken down by hydrolysis into carbon dioxide and water.
