Neauvia Intense Man is a biodegradable hyaluronic acid filler cross-linked with PEG, manufactured by Matex Lab in Brindisi, Italy, designed to restore lost volume of the soft tissue and resorbed over time. It is placed in the subcutis and over the periosteum, the deepest planes Neauvia specifies for the Intense line, which suits the structural work the male face typically requires. For professional use. Neauvia Intense Man is only to be used by physicians in accordance with local legislation, trained in the injection techniques of hyaluronic acid based fillers, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. It is placed in the subcutis and/or over the periosteum using the 21G or 22G needle or cannula supplied in the box. Its high thermodynamic stability and heat resistance are what allow it to be used within combined protocols alongside energy-based devices.

Neauvia Intense Man functions as a space-filling agent, mechanically expanding the soft tissue and adding volume directly where it is placed. Its PEGDE cross-linking gives the hydrogel high conformational flexibility, allowing shape modification without structural damage, which governs how the gel behaves under mechanical stress both during injection and through its life in the tissue. Glycine and L-proline are added to the phosphate buffer solution to tune the viscoelastic properties and swelling resistance, giving better control of the hydrogel's swelling capacity in the post-implant phase. The gel is a temporary filling, with a 6 month degradation average time.
