GUNA is a range of injectable collagen medical devices from Guna S.p.a., made in Milan, Italy, as CE-marked Class III medical devices for qualified practitioners only. Each MD device combines collagen of porcine origin with one ancillary ingredient and acts as a bio-scaffold of the extracellular matrix, giving mechanical support to musculoskeletal tissues. MD-Neck, MD-Thoracic and MD-Lumbar are used on the spine; MD-Shoulder, MD-HIP, MD-Knee, MD-Small Joints and MD-Poly on the joints; and MD-Muscle, MD-Tissue, MD-Neural, MD-Ischial and MD-Matrix on muscle, tendons and ligaments, nerves and the extracellular matrix.
