What is the difference between the Cosmo Peel strengths?
Cosmo Peel 12%, 15%, 18% and 20% contain trichloroacetic acid (TCA) at increasing concentrations. Cosmo Peel Forte combines phenol, TCA and glycolic acid and is intended for acne scars, senile lentigines and actinic keratosis.
What is the DERMACEUTIC Cosmo Peel protocol?
The face is cleansed with Foamer 15, the peel is applied and left for 1 to 2 minutes, with additional layers if necessary, then Cosmo Cream is applied and rinsed off after 4 to 8 hours. Cosmo Peel 12% may be used up to 4 times at 2-week intervals.
How are DERMACEUTIC peels supplied?
The professional peels are supplied as kits. Cosmo Peel 12% to 20% include Foamer 15, the TCA solution, Cosmo Cream, a cup and cotton buds for 18 applications, while Milk Peel comes with Foamer 15 and a brush for 24 applications.
