TEOSYAL PureSense Redensity 2 is a transparent, sterile, non-pyrogenic and viscoelastic hyaluronic acid filler of non-animal origin from Teoxane SA in Geneva, created as the periorbital reference of the range. It is indicated to correct superficial fine lines, wrinkles and depressions located around the eyes. Its gel holds 15 mg/mL of BDDE cross-linked hyaluronic acid, with a degree of cross-linking below 10%, and 0.3% by mass of lidocaine hydrochloride. A box contains two pre-filled syringes, each supplied with two sterile 30G 1/2 inch needles and two traceability labels.

TEOSYAL PureSense Redensity 2 is only to be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals who are qualified or accredited in accordance with national law, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. Periorbital treatment is among the most technically demanding injectable procedures and should be undertaken only by practitioners with specific training in the region. It must not be injected into the epidermis, into or close to a blood vessel, close to a nerve, or at depths other than those described. Depending on the correction required, one or more treatment sessions or a touch-up may be needed.

Perfil do paciente

For adults assessed as suitable by the treating practitioner. Patient selection matters particularly in this region, where skin is thin and any irregularity or excess volume is immediately visible. For injection in the infraorbital region it must not be used in patients with bags under the eyes (fatty orbital herniation or lymphatic stasis), lower eyelid hyperlaxity or any condition indicated for blepharoplasty. It must not be used in patients with cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at or near the treatment site, since injection procedures can lead to reactivation of latent or subclinical herpes viral infection. Because of the lidocaine content it must not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or to amide local anaesthetics, or in patients with hepatocellular insufficiency or undergoing related treatment.
