Contraindications: Do not inject into blood vessels — intravascular injection can cause occlusion, ischemia, tissue necrosis and, rarely, blindness. Do not use in patients with bleeding disorders or taking thrombolytics or anticoagulants. Do not use in patients with a known lidocaine allergy or hypersensitivity to amide-type anaesthetics. Do not re-sterilise and do not mix with other products.
