Teosyal PureSense Global Action is a transparent, sterile and non-pyrogenic viscoelastic filler of non-animal, cross-linked hyaluronic acid, developed to fill facial line wrinkles and damaged skin. Practitioners trained in wrinkle-filling technique use it for mild or moderate nasogenian folds, peribuccal wrinkles and glabellar wrinkles, placing it in the mid dermis with a linear threading technique. Every mL holds 25 mg of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and 3 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride (0.3% by mass, included for its anaesthetic properties), in a phosphate buffer at pH 7.3.

For professional use. Injection of Teosyal PureSense Global Action is reserved for practitioners trained in the injection techniques of products intended for the filling of wrinkles, and it is not for retail sale or self-administration. Before beginning treatment the patient must be questioned regarding past medical history and informed of the foreseeable outcome and of potential undesirable effects. Correction sites must be properly disinfected, and it is advised to perform injections with the needle provided in the box.

Suitable for adult patients seeking correction of line wrinkles on the face, mild or moderate nasogenian folds, or peribuccal and glabellar wrinkles, as assessed by a qualified practitioner. It must not be used for the correction of superficial wrinkles, for injections other than intradermal, or for injection into the eyelids. Treatment must not proceed in the presence of: cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at or near the treatment site; known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid with a history of severe allergy or anaphylactic shock; known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or amide local anaesthetic agents; autoimmune disease; cardiac disease or treatment for heart disease, including beta blockers; hepatocellular insufficiency or treatment for liver disease; and epilepsy or porphyria. It must not be used in pregnancy, in breastfeeding mothers, or in children.

Global Action is injected into the mid dermis at the site of the cutaneous depression in need of correction, where the cross-linked hyaluronic acid creates a volume that corrects the wrinkle. The gel is biodegradable and is slowly resorbed over time, so correction is maintained through periodic touch-up sessions rather than being permanent. In general one treatment session is sufficient, though sometimes two are necessary depending on the depth of the wrinkles being treated. The lidocaine hydrochloride at 0.3% by mass reduces the sensation of pain during injection; sensitivity still varies from person to person according to the area treated and the technique used.
