Neauvia Intense Rheology
Neauvia Intense Rheology is a biodegradable hyaluronic acid filler cross-linked with PEG, manufactured by Matex Lab in Brindisi, Italy, created to restore lost volume of the soft tissue and resorbed over time. It is placed intradermally or in the subcutis with a 27G needle and a medium extrusion force. At 22 mg/mL of hyaluronic acid it is the lightest cross-linked reference in the Intense line, and like every filler in the range it is enriched with glycine and L-proline. Neauvia's patented Smart Crosslinking Technology gives it a single network of hyaluronic acid and PEGDE.
Principales ventajas de Neauvia Intense Rheology
- 22 mg/mL cross-linked hyaluronic acid, the lightest concentration in the Intense line
- Medium extrusion force with a 27G needle supplied
- Restores lost volume of the soft tissue in the face
- No pathological inflammatory reactions detected so far with Neauvia PEG-HA devices
- No cytotoxic activity detected
- No crosslinker residuals remain after complete degradation
- Reversible filling
- High cohesivity and balanced viscoelasticity
- High resistance to heat and high thermodynamic stability, allowing combined protocols
Indicaciones y uso profesional
Indicaciones principales
- Restoration of lost volume of the soft tissue
Uso profesional
For professional use. Neauvia Intense Rheology is only to be used by physicians in accordance with local legislation, trained in the injection techniques of hyaluronic acid based fillers, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. It is placed intradermally and/or in the subcutis using the 27G needle supplied in the box. Its high thermodynamic stability and heat resistance are what allow it to be used within combined protocols alongside energy-based devices.

Perfil del paciente
Suitable for adult patients presenting with age-related volume loss of the soft tissue, as determined by the treating practitioner following clinical assessment. Facial ageing is a composite three-dimensional process involving bone, soft tissue and skin, in which deep fat atrophies while superficial fat repositions or hypertrophies, so the practitioner selects the grade of filler and the plane of placement according to which layer has changed.
Cómo funciona Neauvia Intense Rheology
Neauvia Intense Rheology functions as a space-filling agent, mechanically expanding the soft tissue and adding volume directly where it is placed. Its PEGDE cross-linking gives the hydrogel high conformational flexibility, allowing shape modification without structural damage, which governs how the gel behaves under mechanical stress both during injection and through its life in the tissue. Glycine and L-proline are added to the phosphate buffer solution to tune the viscoelastic properties and swelling resistance, giving better control of the hydrogel's swelling capacity in the post-implant phase. The gel is a temporary filling, with a 6 month degradation average time.

Preguntas frecuentes
How does Intense Rheology differ from the rest of the Intense line?
Concentration. At 22 mg/mL it is the lightest cross-linked reference Neauvia makes, against 24 mg/mL for Intense Lips, 26 mg/mL for Intense LV and Intense Flux, and 28 mg/mL for Intense and Intense Man. It shares the intradermal and subcutis planes with LV and Flux.
Why does Neauvia use PEG rather than BDDE as a crosslinker?
PEG is an established pharmaceutical polymer chosen for its versatility and safety profile. Neauvia reports that no crosslinker residuals remain and no changes in the surrounding tissues can be observed after complete degradation, and that the filling is reversible.
