What is the difference between LANLUMA V and LANLUMA X?
Lanluma V contains 210 mg PLLA per vial, reconstituted with 15 mL sterile water to 14 mg/mL, for the face and smaller body areas. Lanluma X contains 630 mg PLLA per vial, reconstituted with 40 mL sterile water to 15.75 mg/mL, for large body areas such as the buttocks, using 1 or 2 vials per side per session. Neither vial contains lidocaine; 2% lidocaine may be added at reconstitution.
Is LANLUMA a filler?
LANLUMA is a PLLA collagen stimulator. Rather than simply filling an area like a hyaluronic acid filler, the PLLA microparticles activate the body's own collagen response. The water carrying the particles is absorbed within days, and an improvement begins after about 4 weeks.
How long does LANLUMA last?
LANLUMA results appear gradually over two to three months and last up to 2 years. If more volume is required, top-up procedures can be performed.
