Jalupro Amino Acid

Jalupro Amino Acid is a sterile, reabsorbable injectable solution manufactured by Professional Derma SA in Lugano, Switzerland, formulated as a dermal biorevitaliser based on a cluster of four amino acids combined with sodium hyaluronate. It is commonly chosen by clinics, aesthetic physicians and dermatologists to restore radiance and firmness to dull skin, address fine lines and signs of expression, and improve the appearance of scars, keloids and red stretch marks on the face, neck, decollete and body. The product is supplied as two vials of freeze-dried amino acids with two 3 mL ampoules of sodium hyaluronate at 200 kDa, is reconstituted before injection, and is a CE-marked Class III medical device for professional use by qualified practitioners only.

Uso profesional

Jalupro Amino Acid is intended for administration by qualified medical practitioners trained in injectable biorevitalisation technique, using aseptic technique. The product must be reconstituted before use: the vial of sodium hyaluronate (B) is dissolved into the bottle of amino acids (A) and swirled gently until fully dissolved, giving a clear, particle-free solution. The manufacturer specifies intradermal injection into the papillary or reticular dermis according to wrinkle depth, with a 30G needle suggested and not supplied. Injection techniques given are micropapules, linear, fan, grid or mixed, with papules placed approximately 1.5 to 2 cm apart. A local anaesthetic cream is recommended before the procedure, optionally 0.5 to 1 mL of 2% procaine. For the body, the manufacturer directs use of the full 6 mL. The manufacturer also describes an eye-area technique of 1 mL of hyaluronic acid with one vial of amino acids, 0.5 mL each side, and labels that use off label, so it rests entirely with the treating practitioner. Where the product is combined with energy-based devices, the manufacturer describes two Jalupro sessions one week apart, three weeks before the device procedure, resuming three weeks afterwards with three treatments at 10-day intervals.

The manufacturer positions the product for skin in which fibroblast activity has declined through ageing, diet, smoking, sun exposure or physical stress. It is also used before and after surgical procedures and alongside peelings, laser, radiofrequency, fillers and botulinum toxin. Because the product is reconstituted immediately before injection, preparation and handling are part of the treatment plan. Patient selection follows the manufacturer's Instructions for Use.
