Stylage Bi-Flex XL Lidocaine is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler by Laboratoires VIVACY, formulated for facial remodelling, volume restoration and midface enhancement. It is suitable for qualified medical professionals to replace lost or displaced volume in the cheeks, cheekbones and temples, with the gel placed subcutaneously. The product contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 26 mg/mL with mannitol (35 mg/g) and 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate, is supplied in the Bi-Flex syringe and is intended for professional use.

Stylage Bi-Flex XL Lidocaine is a Class III medical device (CE 0344), non-reimbursable, and the injection must be administered by a legally authorised practitioner trained in implant injection techniques. VIVACY specifies a subcutaneous injection plan, with linear threading, multipoint injection or a combination of both, using either a 27G half-inch or 23G one-and-a-quarter-inch needle, or a cannula whose gauge and length are selected by the practitioner. This reference contains lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 0.3% w/w, included to reduce the pain related to injection, so patients must be screened for sensitivity to amide-type local anaesthetics before treatment. Subcutaneous midface placement demands anatomical familiarity with the vascular structures of the region. Injection technique and volume per treatment area are determined by the practitioner.

Suitable for adult patients presenting facial volume loss or displacement in the midface, or seeking remodelling and projection in the cheeks, cheekbones and temples, as assessed by a qualified practitioner. Patients seeking wrinkle correction rather than volume are better served by the S, M or L references, and those seeking sharp jawline or chin contouring by the XXL reference. Because this reference contains an amide-type local anaesthetic, patients with known lidocaine sensitivity are not candidates. Possible side effects include inflammation, redness, swelling, pain, erythema, induration, nodules, colouration or discolouration and bruising, as a non-exhaustive list. The product is a Class III medical device and is non-reimbursable.
