The product contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 24 mg/mL with mannitol (35 mg/g) and 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate for treatment comfort, and it is delivered in the Bi-Flex syringe for professional use.

Stylage Bi-Flex L Lidocaine is a Class III medical device (CE 0344) to be administered only by appropriately trained healthcare professionals who are qualified or accredited in accordance with national law. VIVACY specifies injection into the deep dermis and into the subcutaneous plane when treating volume on the back of the hand, using linear threading, multipoint injection, or a combination of both with a 27G half-inch needle or a cannula whose gauge and length are selected by the practitioner. This reference contains lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 0.3% w/w, so patients must be screened for sensitivity to amide-type local anaesthetics before treatment. The Bi-FLEX syringe provides larger central fins that ease prehension during the aspiration test and improve pre-aspiration.

Patients with fine or superficial lines are better served by the lighter S reference, and those seeking substantial midface volume by the XL reference. Because this reference contains an amide-type local anaesthetic, patients with known lidocaine sensitivity are not candidates.
