Teosyal Puresense Ultra Deep

TEOSYAL PureSense Ultra Deep is a transparent, sterile, non-pyrogenic and viscoelastic hyaluronic acid filler of non-animal origin from Teoxane SA in Geneva, designed as the structural reference of the PureSense range. It is indicated for deep wrinkles and folds in areas of thick skin and for remodelling the contours of the face. The product combines 25 mg/mL of BDDE cross-linked hyaluronic acid, at a degree of cross-linking below 10%, with 0.3% by mass of lidocaine hydrochloride. Two pre-filled syringes come in each box, each with two sterile 25G 1 inch needles and two traceability labels.

Indicaciones principales

• Facial contour remodelling in the upper and lower face (temple, chin, jawline)
• Volume restoration and augmentation, and correction of minor tissue ptosis in the midface (nasolabial folds, cheeks, cheekbones)
• Therapeutic indications: reconstructive surgery, filling of depressions due to scars, and reconstruction of volumes lost through lipoatrophy in patients undergoing HIV treatment

TEOSYAL PureSense Ultra Deep is only to be administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals who are qualified or accredited in accordance with national law, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. Deep structural placement of this kind demands advanced anatomical knowledge. It must not be injected into the epidermis, into or close to a blood vessel, close to a nerve, or at depths other than those described. Depending on the correction required, one or more treatment sessions or a touch-up may be needed to reach an optimal result.

Perfil del paciente

For adults assessed as suitable by the treating practitioner, typically those needing structural contour work in thick skin areas rather than correction of surface lines. It must not be used in patients with cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at or near the treatment site, since injection procedures can lead to reactivation of latent or subclinical herpes viral infection. Because of the lidocaine content it must not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or to amide local anaesthetics, or in patients with hepatocellular insufficiency or undergoing related treatment.
