Revanesse Pure™+

Revanesse Pure+ is a hyaluronic acid injectable from Prollenium Medical Technologies in Aurora, Canada, developed for superficial lines and wrinkles. It is suitable for qualified medical practitioners treating facial rhytides, restoring volume, enhancing the lips, hydrating the skin and smoothing depressions, as well as replacing volume lost through lipoatrophy or lipodystrophy. The gel contains 14 mg/mL of hyaluronic acid with 0.3% lidocaine (3 mg/mL) in phosphate-buffered saline and is intended for professional use. Each box holds two 1.2 mL pre-filled syringes and up to two sterilised needles.

Uso profesional

For professional use. Revanesse Pure+ is to be injected only by qualified physicians, or under their direct supervision, who are trained in the correct technique for treating facial wrinkles, and is not for retail sale or self-administration. It is for intradermal use only and must never be placed in a blood vessel; injection depth, treatment areas and indications may differ by country, region or territory and are determined by the treating practitioner. The area must be thoroughly disinfected and injection performed under sterile conditions; bring the product to room temperature for 30 minutes beforehand and inject slowly with the least pressure necessary. If the skin blanches, stop immediately and massage until normal colour returns. Store between 2 and 25 degrees Celsius, protected from direct sunlight and freezing.

For adult patients seeking treatment of superficial lines and wrinkles, facial volume or lip augmentation, or volume loss from lipoatrophy or lipodystrophy, as assessed by a qualified physician. Because it contains lidocaine, it is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any amide-type local anaesthetic, and in atrioventricular block, sinus node dysfunction, severely reduced myocardial contractility, porphyria or supraventricular tachycardia. Further contraindications include hypertrophic scarring, acne or other inflammatory skin disease, acute or chronic skin disease at or near the injection site, auto-immune disorders or immunotherapy, multiple severe allergies, coagulation defects or anti-coagulation therapy, sensitivity to hyaluronic acid, and unattainable expectations. As it holds traces of gram-positive bacterial proteins, patients allergic to these must not be treated. It must not be injected into the eye contour or eyelids, and must not be used during pregnancy or lactation, in anyone under 18, or alongside laser, IPL, chemical peel or dermabrasion treatments.
