It is used in a hospital or private medical office with appropriate aseptic facilities. It is indicated for adults aged 35 and over and must not be used in anyone under 35 or in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Contraindications include known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or streptococcal proteins, allergy to the anaesthetic used, active infection or inflammation at the injection site, autoimmune disease or a history of streptococcal disease, ongoing anticoagulant or immunosuppressive therapy, and more.
